Avoura Pickleball • Power • Elongated
$199.99
Quick Summary
Best for
Aggressive intermediate, advanced players who want big drives, two-handed backhands, and fast kitchen counters. The 16.5" elongated shape + 5.5" handle feels perfect for tennis converts who want reach and leverage.
Standout
Super “connected” feel on backhand drives, roll volleys, and quick exchanges. The sweet-spot tech helps off-center hits stay more consistent than most elongated paddles.
Watch out
It’s poppy and fast, soft game takes a little dialing in. Still not a wide-body sweet spot, so mishits won’t be as forgiving.

Pros & Cons
Pros
-
Explosive drives + clean counters (it plays fast without feeling wild).
-
Two-handed backhand friendly handle length.
-
Raw T700 carbon gives that “bite” for heavy topspin serves and rolls.
-
Sweet spot feels more usable than many elongated paddles.
-
Made in the USA (premium build vibe is real).
Cons
-
Still not a wide-body sweet spot (off-center can drop quality).
-
Touch shots take a little dialing in if you’re coming from softer paddles.
-
Price is premium, this is not a “starter paddle” buy.
What’s Actually Doing The Work
The sweet spot feels moved to where I actually contact on drives/counters, so I got fewer “dead” elongated mishits.
Gives a clean, connected rebound on drops, resets, and counters, poppy, but not hollow or rattly.
Spin comes easythe face bites the ball on roll volleys and topspin serves, and my passes dipped nicely.
My setup tip
If you want even more stability on counters, add a few grams of lead tape at 3 and 9 o’clock. If you want a slightly softer hand feel (especially for long kitchen battles), add one overgrip, it keeps the handle comfy without changing the length.
Durability note
After multiple open plays and drill sessions, the face still felt grippy, and the paddle stayed solid, no weird vibration shifts. Just wipe the face down occasionally (raw carbon plays best when it’s clean).
Play Test Notes
Short, honest notes with hover lift for each card.
Easy heavy topspin on serves, rolls, and dipping passes.
Lively drives and speedups—extra pop when you step in.
Small learning curve; once dialed, resets feel clean.
Better than most elongated paddles, but not wide-body forgiving.
Fast hands and stable counters for an 8.0 oz elongated.
5.5" is perfect for two-handers (especially tennis converts).
Built to “play big,” with more consistency than expected.
